Scotia Sideways is a grassroots drift-focused motorsport weekend taking place July 18–19, 2026 at Scotia Speedworld in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Designed around competitive drifting, the event will bring together drivers from across Nova Scotia, Atlantic Canada, and beyond. With an anticipated attendance of 2,500+ spectators over two days, Scotia Sideways is positioned to become one of the most exciting drift events in the region.
Event Overview
A high-energy grassroots motorsport weekend
The event is delivered by its organizing team, with the experience and support of Island Speed & Style (ISS), alongside collaboration from No Legacies, Maritime Bash and NS Car Scene.
Together, these partnerships contribute strong grassroots motorsport knowledge, regional networks, and community engagement to help ensure a safe, structured, and high-impact weekend.
In addition to competitive drifting, the weekend will feature a car show and autocross showcase (space permitting), creating a full motorsport experience while keeping drift at the forefront.
